OMFG! Radiohead Announce U.S. Tour Cities!

No wonder I couldn't log on to AtEase, the server probably crashed amidst the fervor of fans peeing themselves over the announcement of which cities Radiohead will play on their upcoming North American tour. Midwesterners, get ready to party. (Thanks to Pitchfork for the info)

Atlanta
Boston
Charlotte
Chicago
Cleveland
Dallas
Houston
Indianapolis
Los Angeles
Miami
Montreal
New York
Philadelphia
San Diego
San Francisco
Santa Barbara
Seattle
St. Louis
Tampa
Toronto
Vancouver
Washington, DC

Still no exact dates, but the tour is going to be split in two, half coming before their European tour, half coming after. Of course, being the huge 'Head Head's that we are, we'll definitely keep you posted as more information trickles in.

Fantastic for the mid-west, a lot more shows here then I expected.

Chicago makes sense but I'm some what wondering why they picked St. Louis over Kansas City? ...especially with the new Sprint Center to consider? I'm waiting to see the venues before commenting too much more. Shows like this are always a weird affair for me. While I love the band I am just not a fan of large venues. =\

Also Radiohead being nice and all has decided to make this tour as eco-friendly as possible. So that explains some of the choices. But really, don't hate on St. Louis. I for one like it there, and am thrilled Radiohead is coming.

Radiohead prefers outdoor venues, that's probably a big reason why KC got skipped. That, and they played St. Louis in '03, and that show went swimmingly. Why mess with a good thing. The biggest surprise is no Denver appearance. Red Rocks is a must for pretty much any band Radiohead's size.
